Year 2012 is approaching. All the new plan must be figured out on the paper. The files used by 2011 will be organized and saved in separated file and drawn from computer.

As I need to open a new file along with a new plan ahead.

Could I still work on the same rythem and sound?

Well, I must put different way next year. I pray there must exist a great achievement.

I had been leaving this page close to one year. I really did not intend to do so. My daily routine has contributed to avoid me from giving my time to this page. Within year 2011, I overcome too many occasion which I like to list down herewith:

1. Promotion to associate professor on Mac

2. Finish my tenure as a head of research management unit on Jun

3. Fail to get sabbatical leave, the reason was kept by academy on October

4. Application to present research paper at Beijing was not supported by academy on December

And now my plan to the year 2012 must be properly put ahead. Everything about research, consultation and social networking should be my priority. And family activities were my top priority....2012 is family year.....

Every thing is working smoothly. My timetable, daily lectures seem to be no problem. The time I'm waiting for is approaching me. Slowly but surely. Registration for my convocation has been done and the robe was collected.

I'm planning to tell in detail my feeling regarding to this situation, unluckily my words power are limited. But to say in short, I'm very thankful to all helps and motivation by friends directly or indirectly.

This moment should be shared by all of my surrounding. Every thing is back to Allah's gift and rahmah. I pray this will be longer...

Beyond Jul-Nov Semester 2010

Three months are been neglected. Not any single of phrase is lied here. In fact I have too many things to explain and share.

My degree has finished, senate letter was received and the date of convocation is just in the corner. I' m still waiting for the conformation of the date. Hopefully before August 2010. When all these end up, my plans must work intensively.

Indeed, the new semester will start on July. About two weeks in front. My timetable is yet to wait. Pre-information of credit hours is expected to be 18 hours. No extra lecture. It seems good to me when I can spend my time on writing again.

Congrats to me and to my helpful friend. We just published our partnership efforts for this meaningful writing. I'm not intended to promote the book, but to my consideration, this is the latest reference in Arabic for those facing constraint to understand news report in Arabic.

The idea of this writing emerged when I was watching news in 111 channel from Astro. I was always facing certain phrase that cannot be understood spontaneously. I need to have special registrar to understand these kinds of phrase and news report. Indeed in Malaysia, we are sort of this kind of reference. Works by Prof. T. Ghani were the only one projected to solve this kind of problema. Even there were several works published in dictionary approach, they still can not fulfill the actual needs to understand news report in Arabic.

Therefore, this work is expected to be able to fulfill some of the emptiness in Arabic Learning process. We, the authors really appreciate and welcome to comments in order to improve our works in the near future.

The day I`m waiting for so long was coming yesterday, 9 a.m, 11 of January 2010. The prompt preparation was well organized for most notes and related items were a camera ready. Just some elaboration and detail explanation should be well delivered.

As I entered office where close to viva’s room, I met my external supervisor, who was my guru for many aspects in academic journey. He just nicely talked to me. As usual when we met at the conferences and seminars. There were five members of the committee for this oral examination.

It was the normal practices as just told by some friends. I went through the presentation and Q&A sessions in cheerful manners. Like friends tea party. The chair person was my senior in high school.

It took about two hours (for it started at 9. 35 P.M to 10. 45) when the sessions come into the end. My presentation took around 15 minutes. The rest laid on correction and some advices as an academician. Shortly after a round table final question, I was asked to be out from the room.

Less than ten minutes, I was in again and all congratulated me for the viva result. They agreed to award me “Dr.” for that stage. The word I was waiting about three years. Now my dream is too close. With minor corrections, I need to resubmit the thesis for more two meeting to validate my Ph.Ds awards.

After taking some instructions and guide for the next process, I drove to Dungun for my class.

When I was starting to write in this space, the end of the year was just in the corner. I skipped on my evening workshop for reasons. I followed up the progress of my application.

Luckily, my request was answered. I learned deeply what the meant interpretation was used on that paper. I really satisfied by the information given to me. Indeed we can not jump into drastic conclusion.

I `m optimist to what is going to happen. I already worked to achieve what I had planned earlier. My 2009 could note very important history in my life. But, I`m not a god. Here come the faith to us. No matter how hard you pay your time, your struggle...at the end of the day, all things must go to the Allah's hand.

To be a gentleman, some experiences were required. Do not rely on your aggressiveness alone. Patient, grateful, obedient and humble must flourish your life. And this is the true color of life. Nothing to lose...

The end of hijri year just passed by. Here and there people were talking about new determination. Which after all, we can conclude in one phrase "the best" for the new year. As among muslim there were individuals taking their "hajj" for that year will find a new page of their planning in coming life.

My situation is still the same. Nothing keeps changing even the new hijri just arrived. I didn't listen to any good news of my thesis 's progress. I dare to say, this feeling the only one who can share was an ex-student of PhD. Not all of them. Might be 5 % of them had overcome this situation.

Can any of you imagine, 10 months waiting for the report, the only one left...even the rest of the examiners had submitted the report less than three months... the remain is the only one. How can you make a person for this 10 months waiting in vain? Since this entry was submitted no sign appeared to be a guide for the actual result.

To Allah I submit all my hope and patient. I should learn something (s) from this case...and on 29 0f Disember 2009, I will again pay for my registration..

I'm tiring of my routine, nothing great work draws my attention. So, I start exploring some of blogs, facebooks and webs. My interest in transports has been growing. Why?

My plan to keep a new transport is getting close. My next year is supposed to have one more transport. A MPV was our priority in mind, first choice must go for a MPV. Indeed the expense for this type has a gap regarding to the standard car.

Today, I come across on a news and short article of a new model from KIA. The appearance looks attractive and young. Not too very pricey compared to his family. It is better for me to take a look first in the real picture. But if I only rely on the pic, my choice is here.

End of the year is reaching as most of my colleagues took their leaves around. I just have a little chance to take my one day leave. I do not plan any trip. Therefore, my day was full with bore moment.

I can not imagine with what I should spend if having more than two days. If I have a plan for a trip, it can be reward able. Might be 5 days are ideal to spend. I pray my WISH can be surface in reality by the next year.

It was a long period to ignore this page. However this is a normal practice among alone ranger blogger like me. Since ramadhan, as my lastest post to this blog, I didn’t have any idea what to share. Therefore, I took a long leave to write, even for my academic works. Do you know why?
I have spent a lot of my time to come up with academic articles which will go for publication. High level of writing as they told me. Journal publication. Where I never dream to publish there even 5 years more I go through. Fortunately, I met a right person, in the right time. He has inspired me to publish in international journal. So, my first article got published in one international journal. In November 2009.

Later, I started my journey to explore a secret of journal’s world. Luckily, I learnt something. How to play and win in this domain. One day, maybe I will share my little experience for the sake of dakwah in writing and expanding knowledge.

Time goes too fast. When the first day of classes get started, I felt like no stop infront. But, unexpectedly everything changes over night. Classes were directed to be closed. All students were required to leave the place.

This situation has been happening when I were in Sabah. (Maybe my tactic to stop this running time). First time be informed by this, I`m really not shocked. The day I were in my way to airport, I got rough picture what the situatuion is to be happened.

My days in Sabah were colourful as well. I met some of friends. I got some new networks to work on. I know my future should be ready to penetrate any of challenges. I must be alert all the time.

Teaching: Path To succes

Assalamualaikum

I have been in Shah Alam for 5 days. Course attending. A very attractive and valuable course. I learn or at some distance, revising my knowledge of teaching methods. For I have not any formal program regarding teaching, specific course. What I have before, is more general method. And this one is focusing on my subject.

I really learn something. I need too refresh my style of teaching. This course has done it role effectively. The facilitators have worked on their best to meet the objective. The notes and lectures given may offer some ideas to prepare a living, joyfulness and effective class.

I appreciate the efforts taken by Arabic Unit of ALS in UiTM for organizing this wonderful course. My tens cents to fellow organizers!!!!

It was about two months have gone. The very spinning time we are in it's circle. Slowly but very firm, the new door for a coming semester has surfaced before all of us. Yet, my table is still needed to be filled with my 'actual activities'.

I`m sure either giving the time passing me or pretending not to notice anything concerning my daily in and out, I still have to stick on my objective. No matters what conditions are, my priority of longtitude plan must stay on the right path.

By the next week, I will be attending five days workshop in Shah Alam. What I expect to do is bringing along my "ongoing works" and get it touched frequently when the time comes. I probably do not allow myself tearing for not enough time like mourning by some people nowdays.

I must look foward to tie my inner instinct for my dreaming "climate" of life. To date, I realise that to change, you need to ask for it.

About three weeks ago, we got a professor in our place. He came from our place. Not some where in this globe. From here, a totally local person, humble and low profile. I knew him not too much, but lately we have a long chatting. That happened shortly before he got his professorship.

I was impressed for having a professor around. I was personally experiencing a good memory those days when my first duty to propose a research being held at Melaka Parade around 2004. I stayed in the same apartment with a professor (now working at Shah Alam) and this new professor. I know this memory will inspire me to be like both of them. Some thing that I could not share here.

Lastly, congratulation for him. You really make us too close to the rank of professorship...May my efforts and endurances be blesssed by Allah and rewarded for here and here after...

End Of The Semester

It was a month ago when my last note appeared on this blog. Since there were a lot of particular matters to be completed regarding to my duty as a lecturer. Our department has started a new approach for on going test where there were no more final exam for foreign language students. They were required to work on a project (such drama, documentary, news and etc...) to complete their subject.

For sure, this first time attempt will need a lot of reviews and comments for the perfectness. By looking at the result and students performence, this project secured student score for the subject.

Personally, I suggest a specific and clear guide for marking process introduced by the department or committees. By the way, lecturers will not suffer to give a justice marks as posibble to their students far from bias or vindictive sentiment.

On March, I was having no chance to write at my blog. Every thing passed too fast. I just cough up any task to be end up by that month. I got already my new projects. One was from private company- related to my expertise in translation- and some more was as editor for Malay-Arab entries for DBP project. I wish all these projects and up coming projects to be under my availability.

Other thing that never surprise me was the process of my thesis submission. I found out there are still millstone before they reach the targeted person. I believed it was my responsibilities to act as soon as possible.

When I was writing this article, I`m waiting for my supervisor. I needed to collect a form from him. Yet, this form for sure was still not complete. One of committee members had transferred to other university. If the time will come wrong, my turn will late. When I will get the approval is in dust.

Yesterday, I went to KT for appointment with my main supervisor. I need to look into my draf again. Some minor errors have been detected by his eyes. We accounted the number of pages, they were around 30 pages.

I was firmly determined to complete these corrections. Yes, my friend was ready to give me, his hand. I found his helpful hand to make my corrections appear. I felt very relief to this point.

When the clock showed around 3.00 p.m, I was trying to meet any shop for adjusting my draf. Unluckily, no one was ready to accept my offer. So by 4.00 p.m, I called back my supervisor to inform the situation.

When I arrived at Dungun, I directly went to my friend`s stationary. It was still opening. So my job was going to settle. The repair of the draf will be soon done by today. I will make a call to confirmation. (The payment for thesis examination is cost RM 1K has been paid).

Assalamualaikum

Finally, I got the permission for submitting my final report to external examiners. They are both professors from local universities. I`m really impressed to be acknowledged such this thing. Two professors for your thesis evaluation and correction, quiet tough what?? (I hope I will learn something).

One is quiet known in Malay-Arabic-Persian language and literature. Having a lot of publication nationally and internationally. He also has an interest in translation- the area my thesis is speaking of-and really encouraging young scholars to widen and streghthen this area. He was cited to say: "We have not enough successor in area of Arabic-Malay-Arabic translation, so who is supposed for going to develope this? ".

The second one is well-known in Arabic Poetry and having a lot of publication in various languages such Malay, Arabic and English. He as well, actively translating Arabic texts into Malay such as a collection of articles in Arabic News. He also contributed in dictionary for special purposes. His publications are having a long journey.

To sum all, I`m proud to have them. May they give me a very special treatment. May Allah bless all of us...

I`m now getting to finish my journey in Phd. On last thursday, I got confirmation or pre confirmation from my supervisors to submit my thesis. I`m really proud to reach at this level when I was 2 years studying and writing.

From now, I have to revise my writing as instructed by supervisors. All are minor corrections. Thanks to Allah. I`m really loving doing these parts. And I`m thinking of them before and after my sleep. ( As well as I`m perfoming my solat, he..he.. ).

Ok, Dudes, just pray me to get blessed to have an understanding and helpful examiners. Short period of viva date. ( Maybe on May or late of April)

Why !!!!

Once again, new semester surfaces to invite me to enjoy. I have no wonder to have 18 hours per week for lecture. No need to explain in detail. This is the tradition we here to obey. For the lucky person, will have their contacts hours be deducted by holding certain positions in the department. As for me, no deduction is offered.

Yet I love to attend the classes. No matter what is happening or going to happen, my duty is to deliver my teaching. For every single minute, I should keep in my mind that teaching is a noble profession. I do remember that doing such research in my field of interest should be my priority.

My concern to some of colleagues pertaining to any post in deparment, attracts my mind to look into the matter. Unsatisfaction is clearly appearing at their faces. The question remains in my mind; How could the same person taking post without offering any opportunity to a different people?? This is a disaster for our CV that goes for promotion...Can you imagine, our CV will be left blank for leadership category...

I keep telling them... no matter it was, we can not move a big rock alone...we must work together and plan for the future. We do not have enough time to blame each other. We must start from now....

This semester break did not allow me to do much on writing or reading. Still I was trying to submit an article to internal publication, hopefully it has be done well. Administrative workload did not friendly to me. I felt a little awkward. Sometimes took all my office hours thinking and sitting on my chair. Yet I was not satisfied.

New semester is on his way. There are about 2 weeks left which one week I need to attend PTK course in Shah Alam. My academic work for sure will be suspended again. But I pray to Almighty to move my motivation to be constantly strong on doing academic work. For I know, I`m still young in this field and I`m really love it.

I wish my skill in writing academic paper would get better day by day. Dear fellows around are always tackling my enthusiam and spirit. A day ahead becomes more harder and thougfer.

A Laptop

I was really rushing for 2-weeks ago, and today everything start to slow down. There are just some small tasks to touch up. I need to wait and follow any progressing from my room. Today I will resume my writing, especially my thesis.

In fact, my heart is talking to me to hurry and keep writing whenever I `m. But, I`m not taking to any action. Last month I was thinking to have a new and handy laptop. I expect to be more chance to write or drafing when I`m not in my room. This is a good idea. Since there are a lot of new laptops with a friendly price offer their costumers to choose.

I wish to have one. But I should consider the finance situation for this year. If I have an extra income for my consultation work, I`ll keep it to purchase a new laptop. And my pray to Allah to give soul and guide me to write.

I was really busy around 2 months ago. My hand could not even type one single phrase for this space. In fact I surf internet frequently, every day. But I do not have enough strength to write. Let say, I`m now totally spending my focus on my thesis. Begining on first weeks of Ramadhan I meet my supervisor to read my thesis, chapter by chapter.

We reached at fourth chapter just now. for coming two weeks, my supervisor will be attending course. This means I have some breaks for my next reading. Even my heart refuses to stop. But patient is cure for many things...

This morning my junior texts me asking me some advices regarding to persuing study in M.A. level. I really want to share. We need to meet first for discussion. Good luck in advance for him.

Our House

Our house has a space to be used. We are planning to build a car porch in near future. We are also thinking to have a small and comfortable landscape. At the moment, we just plant a flowers and some of fruits.

Three days ago, we saw our corn has a flower. It will take more 3 weeks to have a corn to appear. We are very excited to see our corns be harvested. There are about 60 trees we have.

I`m among the nonbeliever of the number`s luck. What to do with the number?. I wonder when people pay more than thousand for the plate number they want. They wait under a huge tree asking for number. When they have a luck number, they will win a bid. Numbers are every for 4D`s, 6D`s lover. They play with number days and nights.

Number is still the same, even it was used for daily instrument aid. There still a misuse of number.

Today I ponder to very significant number in my life. 4 +1. Very interesting combination. See how these numbers seen in my perspective.

1 /4 I started working as a lecturer.
My punch card`s number is 14
4 years 1 month I got promoted.
I guess when I was 41 years old, I`m a professor.

Can this happen in reality?. For professorship, I wish it was earlier more than 3 years. I plan, and Allah will give what we need.

It takes about one week ( in fact I have started last year ) to search any university or organization`s publisher having refereed journal in my field. Of course I found and read one-two articles. They are really different in term of style and focus. What I`m afraid a lot is there are no co-authors. All the writers are Docs or Profs. So where do I`m?.

Anyway, I must test the water. High level Journal as seem to me, not much probability to expect. So, there are other ways I must follow. An academic book. Recognized by experts in the field. Why not I try this way?.

I have in mind some ideas that will realize my academic book. But, I need to learn from others experiences. The way they perform, their arguements, Q&A etc. Lets make a little research before I start my work.

This is a compilation of discussion which was warmly debated by two young Scholars, Muhammad Abi Suffian who has a Arts and Business educations and Azman a rising linguist in Arabic and its teaching. The issue arises here when; the University Mara Of Technology Terengganu organizes sports Days, the first event introduced on behalf of a new Director. The SUITE07 is opened to all staffs and students. But what makes this issue important is, the involving in this program is compulsory or not and how it was held technically. We do agree that "badan sihat otak cergas" not necessarily comes out from competition or match.
We define here sport in scope of match or competition not sport done freely.
Because the culture of competition to some circumstances lead to damage the message of "Badan sihat otak cergas" as well as nepotism culture.
Human being does not expected to compete in physical manner...to measure their strength...as our prophet s.a.w had asserted.
What sadden all of us is the culture has been tried to be created here is "worshiping sport" [ match ] by use excuse of " to maintain relationship and gain healthy" since there are sports man using drug to win the sport....

Basically, you highlighted the UITMT as a sport university previously. AND UiTMT had already launch the sport for relationship activity.

UiTMT did not emphasize the competition, BUT Sport competition as a medium to develop the human relation in UiTM.

A good and reactive respond. As we related earlier, we are not going to justify the goodness of sport. As Islam itself encourages sports.
The sport unit existent is deniable. And we conscious there are another units. Sport Unit is not alone. Your statement "sport activity and the development of cognitive thinking, human behavior, and soft skill, etc among academician" is a repetition and interpretation of "Badan Sihat Otak Cergas". We don’t need to discuss it again.

If a small unit can conquer all university activities as well as the objective, doesn’t it is weird ??. The analogy is like a small and tiny snake trying to swallow a big cow.

The idea to create a new university is funny. Since it was our responsibilities to maintain and manage the existed university from misused or self interest. We can not simply brought by the wave and tide, but to actively and clearly defending the truth.

As mentioned earlier, we are not going to simply say " wrong'" or "right".
And it is our task to find the betterment in our environment and society.
We already have a lot of units, including sport unit which believed can contribute to society.
But the core subject here is why a small unit conquer the activities, such as culture and arts, uniforms etc...??

We are like KEMAS kinder garden, after academic session go to field to play....see. We have about 4 months this semester. And 2 months for this activities...the rest is for classes and test.

It was my pleasure to express my thanks to all fellow friends. You all were contributing to my achievement. I really indebted to all seniors especially P.M Dahari, who personally came to my room and continiously advising me to write without fail.

I also, secretly indebted to Ahmad Faiz who guided me for my first day in Terengganu. I always be around his room to spend my time in term-break. From there I was invited to prepare 2 paper works on Public Admin by somebody outside. I earned about RM 100.00. Wow ! What a big deal. After I got my own room ( shared ) with a roomate who was telling the importantness of research, books and presentations. I kept his tips every day I was in. He is among the writers that inspires me a lot.

In fact, there were fellow friends now completing their thesis on Phd gave me a bundle of thought, critism and advices. Not to forget, current fellow altogether having a tea in along the road in Dungun. You gave too many ideas and inspiration.

Everyone, in or out were contributing something to me in developing my skills and experiences. Dear fellows from UM, UKM, UIA and all I can not mention here. You are great !!!. Finally, personally this is just a begining for more challenges and endurances. Pray me be succeed.

Our old classmate. He was the one, among the brilliants in our class, even in our school. He also brave and energized. When a bad thing arises in front of him, he quickly acts. He was a member of our Silat`s club.

Accidentally or not, he has changed. Too fast. And too a lot. A rumors we heard, he was involved in irregular practices in silat. I could remember that day when our resident staff ( warden ) found out him performing solat on the road near to school hall. In the night.

Today I met him again. About 15 years, I did not know what exactly happened to him. We meet, and he was cycling like those days I saw him for the last time. My heart feels sorry and pity on him. He talks to me like 15 years ago. I took a look to his appearance. He looks much older than he should be. His head gets no hair.

Suddenly I realize, we are now getting older...

At last, the end day has come. It was on friday, before Jumaat pray`s time. We took our lunch at Khalifah Bistro, Section 7. It looked like we are celebriting. Not really. We are fours, me, Saiful, Asri and Dahlan ( Penang branch ). After performing Jumaat`s pray, we were heading to a cinema at Jusco in Bukit ( I forgot already ).

We watched "The Happening". To me this is my first time entering cinema. It was interesting. But the movie was a little bit mysterious. Never mind, at least I was there.

At 7.30 pm, after finishing our dinner, we set off from Presscot hotel. We were 5 including Saiful`s student. What a nice journey. It took 5.30 to reach Dungun. Not bad for me.

We pray this PTK4 is the last, before we step in for PTK5 as soon as possible.

3 days have passed by. It is about 40 % of PTK course has finished. Today, the really activity has just started. Public speaking is the first start.

As determined by organizer, using English is compulsory. My turn is today. No 6. I was little bit nervous initially. But I overcame that situation in successful manner, if I can say.

Now, the next turn is to present my assignment, product and research proposal. I pray to be more performed when doing presentation. I hope I can do the best, and pass this stage happily.

Here, again I will attend PTK4 at Shah Alam. As ever, this is a very bored course. I wish not to attend this 4 but 5. But I have no choice in my hand for now.

Hopefully I can succeed this course. No reattending, O Allah help me to pass this stage...

The trip will be on saturday 7 of June 2008. Mr Saiful offers me to join him with his car. Very good idea. I suggest to invite Mr Asri to come along us. So, we can share the burden of gas expenses.

Again I `m thinking of my future in academic world. At my current workplace seems to me not much opportunity I can grab. The first thing is to supervise post graduate student is zero here. No specific programme to my field. I see that my coming future will shape my motivation and my focus. If this field does not help you, what are you waiting for?

To plan is one thing. And to make the plan works, certain proper steps must be taken. A research must be done to ensure the security here and there. An interview and observation are the tool to be used to assist me getting an authority information.

My intention is to share and develope my carrier. I need to move fast. If I`m late I will lost my train. I can not bear waiting for the next one. What if something happens unexpectedly to the next train?. I can not certain that.

Let`s see what can I do now....

Day 1

A trip to Jordan started at 11.30 morning from Dungun. It took 7 hours to arrive at Bangi. When I was cought by fever and headache. My dinner went to no benefit.

At 3.10 morning of 4 April, the real thing happened. I could not bear a long trip as usual. Within 14 hours, my body could not accept any food. For the worst, I was as well could not consume a plain water. Everything was vomited.

At 4 evening, Amman local time, I was brought by Univ. staf to the hotel. Region Hotel at Dhahiyyah al-Rasyhid. My condition was getting better when I was able to take a cup of hot tea. Near to Bab Raisi Jordan University. I made a call to my friend.

Three months had passed by, when finally all confusions and rumours stopped. The decision was made by Prime Minister, Datuk Ahmad Said was now Terengganu`s MB. All eyes will go to Kemaman again. Besut will remain history for a while.

Kemaman or famously known as Chukai ( the town ) will wake up again after ten years of rest. It was Wan Mokhtar's time when Kemaman became well known among outsiders.

As reported, new exco will be selected soon. Ceremony will be held. During this limited period, some lobiying is not told by any source.

Do excos will be consisted from Pas` s ADUN ?

Will new MB follow Perlis`s goverment??

It was about three weeks passed by, and I did not actively visiting my blog and friends. After an amazing and unexpected general election result, I was busing reading politic writings. I was learning how people around giving their thoughts and comments. I did not sure really how to decide the most authorised facts.

Person in my age may take note for this GE. As I was teenager, this never important to me. I just interested seeing posters everywhere. I heard, we could make money to work on that. But I never had a chance to involve.

Poor for Terengganu. New MB is still not decided officially. May next week, a good news come.

General election -12, is a cycle process. I like the word by Pahang's MB which cited as "remember when you are on the top, there must be somebody to step down, as your turn comes, you have to step down and should be there somebody on the top. But if you remain on the top, bear in mind that there should be somebody does not able to reach the top".

I ponder to these verbatims come from various parties learders. They are too reflecting to my mind. Their words gave some interest. Sometimes philosophically. Sometimes cynical.

All these will increase due to the day on 8 March 2008. If we can, to attend politicians campaign are worthfully. Hot campaign will disclose everthing we did not expect or we did before. Short campaign will request all campaigners to deliver their message effectivelly.

Early this morning every one has accepted the list of candidates that deserve for their promotion. By this formal and written announcement from administration, the rumours will calm down and stop for the while.

I'm personnally congratulate those has been passing this passage of their career. When they are in new stage of gred, they can move on quickly. The light can be seen from this stage clearer. The light of top acheivement of this career.

To those are still in a first stage, no wonder your efforts ( in one perspective ), huge or popular, you are not going somewhere. The first to think is how to reach the second stage. The real efforts will start there.

A Rumours

It was about a year when a rumour comes up again to this society. Like annually routine, as an annoucement of the list of candidates who got promotion, the rumour rises. The same thing happens when the list of excellence award appears.

The most popular expression are "it was now better to me to pack my stuffs and move on to another place", "how come he/she deserved to this position??? no research, papers and all kind of academic works???", "what the hell the guidelines have done to this promotion exercises??", "You must know how to perform and show up yourself in front of your dean...". All kinds of these verbatims reflected the unsatisfaction among those yet to think why some of them have negative answer to their application. Even they have done every single of what guidelines needed.

I make up my own assumption. To move on this level you must be patient. Make your intention for being lecturer is to build a new generation, not to gain wealthy. The wealthy will come later when your feeling is well and adapt to various stages of life.

But for sure, this exercises of promotion will grow a new culture and perception. "Don't Work Too Hard, Unless When Your Services are Near to 10 Years", otherwise "You Just Waste Your Efforts To Be Recognized As You Deserve".

The guidelines will rest in peace.

ارسل الأب رسالته الاولى إلا أنهم لم يفتحوها ليقرؤا ما بها بل أخذ كل واحد منهم يُقبّل الرسالة ويقول أنها من عند أغلى الأحباب.. وتأملوا الظرف من الخارج ثم وضعوا الرسالة فى علبة قطيفة.. وكانوا يخرجونها من حين لآخر لينظفوها من التراب ويعيدونها ثانية.. وهكذا فعلوا مع كل رسالة ارسلها ابوهم

Chaos In Terengganu

During 2 days ealier, I went through too many stages of feeling. I was rushing and losing my tempo for many times. Once, I missed my appoinment with my supervisors. I felt quite teribble for I had 2 more meetings after the date of my appoinment. When this one was already cancelled, deep in my heart, I thank to Allah. That means I have more chance to get well prepared.

Then next morning, I went to fulfill my need to teach. 4 hours in the morning. Luckly, I just have 2 times for one month. I hardly tried not to take this responsibility. My efforts failed anyway. I need more time to my study. But may Allah has choosed me to do this, and he is the only knows why me.

After the class, I went back and took my family along to KEY TEY. It took near two hour to arrive. When I left my family in my brother`s house, the lecture was going to start. I entered the ballroom when the second session was going. I paid my attention as full as I could.

What a very interesting lecture !!!. My tiring was gone.

Every time passed by, our lives had been changing. Too many things we left and at present we have to catch as much as we can. Any oppurtunity. We are belong to the time we are in now. The past left behind becomes far and farther. No turn back.

As the future is beyond our expectation, nothing more can be done. All we need to do is having a specific plan and work for it. We have to determine the priority and work on it in respective manner.

Any way, spirituality in mind should be stabilized. Such elements which believed jeopardizing the survival of spirit in our mind should be put aside.

فإن من الأمور القديمة التي تداولت بين القدماء من الفلاسفة هو قضية الوجود. فالتساؤلات حول علل خلق الكون و لاسيما الإنسان أثارت جدالا حارا بين الفلاسفة حسب مذاهبهم متمسكين بــها. ولا يزال هذا الجدال يدور في أفكار الآدميين من ليس له حظ في دين الله سبحانه. وصاروا تاركي التساؤلات حول خلق الكون ويمشون في الأرض فرحين قبيل الموت الموعود.ـ
فإن الإسلام قد بين بكل وضوح و صراحة من خلال التنزيل الحكيم ردا على التساؤلات الفلسفية. لماذا خلق الإنسان ( و الجن ) و هذا الكون ؟؟؟. فقد أوضحت الآيات الكريمة في أسلوب واضح إذ تترجمت إلى أي لغة في العالم إن لم يفهموا العربية: } وما خلقت الجن و الإنسان إلا ليعبدون { . هذا هو الهدف و الغاية أو المقصد من خلق الإنسان. و الأمر كله إلى عز وجل.ـ
فالإنسان و الكون خلقا والعلاقة بينهما واضحة ألا و هي المسؤولية. أن الإنسان كما بين الله في القرآن الكريم خليفة الأرض } إني جاعل في الأرض خليفة { حيث أشارت الأية حينما صرح الله هذه الأية من سورة البقرة تردد الملائكة وأدي ذلك إلى كفر إبليس و اظهار عناده.ـ

و قد طال عني اهمال الكتابة بالعربية في هذا بلوج. والعيب ليس من شأني بل يعود ذلك إلي احساسي أنه لم يكن هناك من يفهم الموضوع من الزوار الكرام. والعادة تؤكد هــيمنة الإنجليزية علي هذا الموقع.ـ

وقد مر علي قرب أسبوعين منذ أن ابتدأت الحصص الدراسية. وقد تم القاء مادة الدروس في الأسبوع الثاني. ما أورع هذاالفصل الدراسي بما فيه شعور الإرتياح و الفرح تغلبني .ـ

لكن أمامي مسؤولية أخري. لابد من مواجهتها بكل صبـر و استقامة. فإن الأوقات لا تكفي دائـما للأدميين. يا حي يا قيوم برحـمتك أستغيث !!!!.ـ

Data Analysis2008

Begining at first of January 2008, my lecture has started. This means my pleasure time to read and write is limited again. Hopefully my spent time ealier is adequate to balance current lecture period. Some working paper especially about translation is almost to finish. While some more is existing in schethes.

This period is quite critical to my consideration. I was already decided to finish ( in any cost ) one data to be analysed per day. This is a ideal will. And I'm going to prove that it can be done, no matter what is the coming constrain.

My routine will follow my new schedule. Such changes will end with one data was touched that day. I have to learn, no one will urge me to do so. All will up to me. Let's dear readers pray for my endurance.

Busy !

For 2-3 weeks, I was working on my writing ( Phd ). I need to do some preparations before new semester comes. The three chapters I have finished, should be reread and revised more than once. Than the hard copy must be prepared and submit them to my second, third and fourth supervisors.

Today I will do the last touch up. Any mistakes must be minimized. Such references have to be reached one more time. But I also have a lot to do for my personal matters in the same time. I really pray to Allah to help my efforts complete as scheduled.

Let's me stop now !!!

Khidmat Cemerlang

It takes about two weeks keeping me away from blogging. I `m not intended to do it intentionly. During this period, I have to attend one workshop which was organised by UMT for my Phd course. Secondly, I attended conference on Translation in KL. I have presented my paper which based on my current thesis.

To my surprise, I was informed by somebody that I 'm awarded “khidmat cemerlang” for year 2006 on the first day of my arrival. It was not in my mind to be awarded like that. For, my experience looked at this award goes to whom holds various commitees and actively appear during occasions, especially during the presence of top management.

Anyway, this award will supply more credit to my CV. Coincidently, I have been planning to apply for seniorship. Of course, I thanks to Allah for helping me improving my CV, even it is just a little part in my CV.

On 10 of December 2007, I submitted my application for seniorship to Shah Alam. My heart feels very peaceful and motivated. Then, my next step will move to completing my Phd and learning about publishing an article in journal.

I must be alert that my concern of self improving in term of academic practices will be the number one. For the next year foward, publishing article in a national and an international journal is my new benchmark.

May Allah guides me...

A book for Writing In Arabic

Thanks to Allah, finally I could see my latest draft of my first book near to printing date. The printing is expected in early of the next month.

The publisher has planned to market this book to the school in Malaysia for the next year. I hope this book will be utilized by anyone who loves to learn Arabic.

The book is written in easy Malay language. I try to help reader seeing Arabic as a modern, applicable and possibble to be learnt. The most aspect of Arabic linguistic is touched but in plain explaination.

Some guides from this book are my own experience learning Arabic during more than 10 years. The choice of writing skills is my consideration for the chance to practice writing is far applicable than speaking skills. In fact, these skills can be sharpened through the sufficient knowledge of linguistic.

Previously, I have mentioned the eagerness to obtain a power. The power seem to be a determinant factor to open a broaden opportunity to realize what human being needs. What human needs also already mentioned in previous entry.

One of the human's interest is wealth. Here come money as a major player. Although there appear an argument to rationalize a money in creating human attitude, yet we altogether agree a money is a must for nowday's life.

What I 'm personally observing, many of who are around tend to make a money. Even they know, money is not every thing. But it is something. And interesting. We need to efford a living needs using money.

Alas, does money will determine our happiness???

For sure not,

Learning is life, my new motivation. Just a different to the late one is how the phrase was used. My actual intention is to highlight the importantness of learning. I never say the idea comes from myself. Every single of scholars in civilization, gone or in progress, do not deny this notion.

Since learning is a process, regardless of ages, we must step foward to improve ourselves. No action is taken without awareness of some degree of knowledge. If we have an improper knowledge, the result will go in despair.

Learning is how the knowledge acquired, developed and contributed. Knowledge acquired and been perished is a merely information. As when we are developing knowledge, we should sure obviously where, whom, when and how to contribute. The values should be considered as a core subject to be maintained when developing and contributing a knowledge.

To think in short way how this process is going on we must learn. Learn how to learn is a value. Do learning is in images of schools, universities and colleges ???.

The question could be answer in a wise manner.

Its Just a Begining

A one week to complete my fast in Syawwal goes smoothly. I pray to Allah to give me more learning from this sunnah. Last Ramadhan is supposed to become the best of my fasting experience. May Allah bless me and all of muslim in the world.

2 Days remain before me. What is the best I could continually practise after this temporal sunnah. Deep in my heart I determine to practise "Ihya' al-layl". Why? I just had one newborn son. This creates a big oppurtunity to force me waking up in the night. If I'll not, my lovely wife will awake me.

May Allah simplify me to go on this practise. I`m 32 just now. If allowed, I yet 30 years more to stay on this world ( standard age of human after Prophet Muhammad s.a.w ). I want to change my way of life, since I have a big responsibility and mission. I must be aware, now I`m a father of 3 children.

I`m not a single young men. I have to think older. My role is getting wider by day goes. If I`m not changing now, I`m afraid everything around me will change me and determine my own life.
Reading, revision and exploring new field should become my priority. Let`s shift the way I`m on now.

It is just a begining.

We are now at the end of Ramadhan. Yet, to get a chance to do any charity still opened. We have more 3 days to perform any Ibadat with doubled bonus. One month is a short period, that why we should not miss this oppurtinity.

I recalled my old days, when we come to the end of Ramadhan. Very interesting part was to prepare a cookies, ketupat and Tapai. I did not recall well, what cookies my mother likes most. But ketupat and tapai were vital for Eid.

Ketupat is very familiar now even not on Eid. Tapai is also the same. We could get them easily in coffeeshop every where in Malaysia. So, no wonder why ketupat and tapai are not popular as they were before.

Now, cookies like almond London, popias, curry puff, tat and more have taken over ketupat and tapai. If we want to see ketupat, we can see it in Eid card, conventional card or electronic card.

But we cannot feel the same how the spirit is when preparing ketupat and tapai with our relatives and neighbours.

Yea, I get older now, watching everything around me keep changing and changing...

Reading And Writing ???

Thanks god ( alhamdulillah ) for giving me a lot of energy to finish about 2-4 pages of my writing. [ personally I am almost doing writing every day. But to reach 2-4 pages is not tough unless it is pertaining to my research or Phd data`s analysis ]

The most important what I want to express here is my reading in the last month.

It was unforgotten experience to read the book by Prof M. Kamil. I feel like reading Hamka's work which I appreciate it too much. I strongly recommend who is doing or will do their Phd to read this book.

I enjoy reading this book and will get it to myself. It really discovers a different side of Phd`s experience.

The Unforgotten Punishment

I`m recalling my past when this case comes around. I was too little that time. I went to kindergarden. It was free for the workers in that estate. Yet, my peers were about 3-4 children.

I `m not pretty sure, when this incident happened. What I still able to bear here is I have followed my senior to the river not too close to our home. On the way [ the time was afternoon ] we would hide when vehicles came across. We had to, because perhaps our parents were on the vehicle. If I was not mistaken, we already spent our time to swim in the river.

It was around 1-2 o`clock when I arrived to my home. I pretended to be looked natural as I combed my hair neatly. But my heart pounded faster as I saw my dad and mum as well as my sister were on the yard. As my step touched the yard, a pipe dropped on my back.

And I do not want to recall that incident again.... since then I become more alert for not to break the law in our family.

Tarawih in Ramadhan

During ramadhan night, muslims are encouraged to perfom many nawafil ( reciting Quran and solat ). One of the famous nawafil is solat tarawih. My first tarawih happened when I joined my senior to mosque. [ My father did not fetch me to masjid even he was a imam ].

Of course, we reached earlier to perform Isha` first. I was too awkward. Azan was already done when I entered the Mosque. There was no makmun except a muazzin. I waited to my senior to get anything to do. He entered and rise his hand for takbir beside me immedietly without any word. Unconsiously I was following him.

For every movement, I followed him. I felt more awkward when every one inside the mosque looked at me and smiled. Why they do not perform the solat ???. What a terrible. My senior finished and so I was. Then every makmun were ready to perform solat Isha`. so we joint them altogether...

What sort of solat I had performed earlier??? Was I mistaken ???. This question was unanswerable till I pursued my school in Sek. Agama. All what I have done that time becomes my sweet memory. My first time in Mosque happened in Ramadhan.

Thanks to my senior [ his name is yet fresh in my mind - ROSLAN ] for this memory. So to perform nawafil is very requested to us as muslim especially in Ramadhan al- Mubarak.

Firecrackers and My parents

I received a respond from a fellow blogger who was responsible to drag me into bloggers`s world. Indeed his notes recall me back again to my old days in Ramadhan. Firecrackers.

I was living in palm oil estate that time. It was quite difficult to get firecrackers. My parents did not allow us to buy them. But sometimes my sister would buy fireworks ( because she was schooling in KT town ). Seldom my old brother brought a fireworks which our uncle ( in Kota Bharu ) sent to us.

Now I know why my parents did not allow us to buy. I realize we were not rich enough to burn our money. But my father ever bought it in small amount. Only "bunga api" not "mercun". So there was no sound in our home ground.

In ramadhan I still remember how my father spent his after solat Asar time reciting a versus of Quran. He sat cross-legged in a back door of our house. And I was planning to go out to find friends in the play ground not far from our house. My mother was preparing in kitchen.

Fireworks....not longer relevent to current ramadhan..Allahu Akbar!!!

Sour fruits in Ramadhan

Ramadhan Karim. The ramadhan is coming again. This period is very significant to muslim as a whole. As they start fasting in the day and perform Terawikh in the night. Every one wishing each other " ramadhan karim".

It was about 26 years ago when I started fasting. This month is very special to me, personally. I cannot forget, in school days when I was 8 years old. My classmate( his name is forgotten ) has given me a small fruits like green nut. He said, it`s taste is sour. I `m sure if we know what we call it. As it was fasting day, I could not put it in my mouth.

When I was home, after breaking my fast I was looking for the fruits. My appetite to taste these fruits become bigger when I forgot where I put them. My bag already plundered. They were not in. Suddenly my mum took my pencil case. She opened it curiously in front of me.

Wa la!!! they were there. I put one to my mouth. Yes it really sour. My mum refused to taste it. I still can feel that incident even my mum is not we us anymore.

I will and wish to share my experience during fasting days within 26 years ago...

هل العربية كالأخرى من اللغات العالمية ؟؟؟

السلام عليكم

يسرني التحدث في موضوع اللغة العربية في ماليزيا. مع العلم أن جذورها ثابتة من خلال التعاليم الدينية وتطويرها للغة المحلية إلى مستوى ما. ولكن التضييع الملحوظ علي العربية تكاد أن تكون واضحة عندما شجعت الحكومة أذآنك على الأبجدية اللاتنية لتحل الخط العربي الجليل. و لا يخفي أن يقال أن هذه الحركة الخفية تستهدف قمع الروح العربي وفي وقت نفسه إبعاد الرغبة في تعلم الدين و تنفيذه.ـ

لا شك أن سياسة اللغة الإنجليزية تفوز على العربية خلال فترة بعد الإستقلال إلى اليوم. ولكن اللغة الإنجليزية هي لغة مادية و أكادمية مؤقتة. إذ بها تقوم الأمم بالحضارة غربية شكل و الثقافة مادية أسسها. فاللغة الإنجليزية كاللغات الأخري مثل الفرنسية و الألمانية واليابانية و الصينية وما إلى ذلك من اللغة العالمية التى تستهدف في تعلمها الغاية المادية شكلا و عملا.ـ

و هذه اللغات كلها تعيش و ازدهرت كلما قويت الحضارات التي تحملها و ضعفت مع انحطاط هذه الحضارات. والعربية ليست كمثل هذه اللغات كلها. مهما انحدرت الحضارات العربية والشعوب الإسلامية فإنها تعيش و تطورت بشكل ملحوظ. فقد صدق الله في محكم التنزيل:وإنا نحن نزلنا الذكر وإنا له لحافظون...ـ

Challenges

A culture of youngsters in age of 17-20 years, is clearly about lifestyle. As in era of 80`, many youngsters tend to imply themselves as rockers. Rocker stars like Search and Wings becoming their idol. Songs like Rozana and Taman Rashidah Utama were the song of those days. I`m myself still remember their rythms and lyrics as well.

Era of late 90` has changed the rock`s time. We moved to hip hop era, and youngsters style also changed. Cap on the top and big trousers with chains in purse. The music reborn again in different approach. Hi-tech is fully utilised to make up this music.

2000 era is moving to change again this globe. New trend of using technology for communication will again gives our youngsters a fast and drastic changes. Internet and wireless tools are widely used. No one at least has no experience with these tools. The music is not alone to influence and develope a new culture to youngsters.

Out of all, these changes are challenging us to think and act faster. No one can deny this new wind. What we have to do is to fully utilise our capasity and lessen our ignorence of the world. If not we will be left behind.

فإن انتشار اللغة العربية لا عن طريق الإجبار الإقتصادي أو السياسي و إنـما عن طريق التدريس الديني الأخلاقي. و في تلك الفترة قد قويت اللغة المحلية حيث نشأ الكتاب من أبناء الوطن الذين ترجموا النصوص الدينية إلى الملايوية. و قد سجل التاريخ حادتة الأمر بترجمة كتاب الدر المنظوم -إلى الملايوية من أمير مملكة ملاكا وتم ارسال هذا الكتاب إلى فاساي لهذه الغاية. وكذلك كتاب أم البراهين الذي قام بترجمتها محمد زين بن جلال الدين.ـ

Warriors of Indepedence

The history of independence is recalled again. History is recited again. No wonder too many of us have forgotten how warriors of past struggling to create the history. This time some side of us has higlighted a few names { been denied their sacrifice } in the history.

These names are "ulamak" whom as they claimed were not cited properly. The new generation will tend to appreciate the post independence leaders. The ulamak`s contributions were forgotten... is this true reality??

My simple argument is, this kind of popular culture just to drag attention among nation and credit goes to up coming general election. The true warriors were not deserved to be involved in this political strategy. In the same time, to mention them and their sacrifaces in differents medium are welcome. I`m afraid if misunderstanding leads to despair.

Warriors and leaders have different meaning.

اللغة العربية في ماليزيا

اللغة العربية ترعرعت في العالم الملايوي قديما تارخيا. إن ذلك يعود إلى الرحلات التي قام بها التجار العرب و هم في نفس الوقت العلماء

خلال هذه الرحلات التجارية و الدعوية انتشرت تعاليم دينية في معظم أبنا الوطن ويعتبر الإسلام هو الذي يشيد الثقافة ازالة الأمية في هذه المنطقة.... فطبعا, من أسباب مهمة تؤدي إلى الحضارة الملايوية هي اعنتناق هذا الوطن الإسلام والتمسك بتعاليمه. فمن أهم مضمون الرسالة هذا الدين هو فرضية طلب العلم. وهذا واضح البييان حيث أن الآية الأولى أنزلت تبدأ بالأمر على القراءة ( سورة العلق ).

وكيفية أو طريقة طلب العلم لا بد من وسيلة للإتصال. أليست اللغة هي الوسيلة الأساسية للإتصال؟؟

أنَّ التعاليم الإسلامية تتركم في اللغة العربية. والدليل علي ذلك قوله تعالي في أن القرآن نزل باللغة العربية التي لا تتغير بمرور الأيام و

الأعوام. والمنطقة في الأرض الملايوية تقبل وتتأثر باللغة العربية في من حيث مفرداتها و تراكيبها النحوية. إلا أن هذا التأثير يزول في الناحية ويبقى جزء آخر بدون أي تغيير ملحوظ. ويمكن أن نقول أن التأثيرمن اللغة العربية على اللغة الملايوية بطريقة مرضية من أبنائها ولا عن طريق القهر و التهديد كما حدث في اللغات الأخرى...هذه هي الحقيقية ولا يرفضها أحد!.ـ

Redang Island

To whom never been in Redang Island, it promises you a meaningful holiday to spend. My first experience for three days [ joining a programme ] there is very enjoyable. The white sandy beach is a beacon to all of human being. Further more, there is marine park which full of marine creatures. What a wonderful world !!!

My point of view, this island must be visited by every one, especially those loving snorkling and diving. It also a pleasure to spend our leisure time there. One thing must be remembered, do not forget to book first before you leave. It is always full to lodge in spot, unless if we want to be there a day.

Let create opportunity to be there some days !!!

It was very clear to to define what the power is. In some levels, difference strength of power will be good for the human beings relationship. The pyramid level of power may show how the bigger goes to the top. This means that the power will reduce when more people are holding it.

The theory of power in this schema could be applied in management. Frankly to say, the power in management is more exposed in human beings activities as well as in administration. To relate this phenomena to the power of knowledge, it should be looked in difference corner.

Homo sapien is difference to others from creatures in this universe. The knowledge they acquired in various areas of life, could be use to obtain the power in their society. But the mere knowledge has nothing to do, unless to convince or to pursuade emotionally or intelectually. To achieve the power, some tactics or strategies ( base on knoledge ) are required.

The miserable thing could happen when cunning action with attire of knowledge are spreadly misused by certain individual. The turning point could be expected as materialistic culture that boost this attitude.

So if you want to "empower" your power, consider these elements:
1. Knowledge in specific area of interest
2. Intention for Allah
3. Responsibility to the task assigned
4. Humble to self and others under or around
5. Humanity means to contribute to humanity as whole not to just personal end.

What I`m doing now...

Salam & Ahlan,

Reading such material will help to improve reading skill. In some circumstances, I rely on reading to gain my ability in foreign language. To meet an opportunity speaking in foreign language is quiet difficult. Since I `m surrounded by Malay speakers only.

Today I subscribe to foreign language magazine and newspaper. For English, I tend to read Reader`s Digest and Time. Meanwhile daily Star and NST I could read them in my office. As for Arabic, I already subscribed "Ahlan Press", the only Arabic publication in Malaysia.

These materials worth too much for me. My future plan is to be prominent writer in three languages. I think and do confident that an ability to use many language will increase understanding of cultures and worldviews of others.

At present, my blog is very useful and effective to me practising my writing in English. It does not mean to conceit when my blog appears in English. A lot of things I can do to practise my writing skill though there are no teachers. Again I can assure my writing get published.

I`m waiting an Arabic script facilities in the blog. Then I have a chance to improvise my Arabic and see how it will be published !

Power, the word that means too much to many of us. We can see the power in many perspectives. Even a small kid has power to protest and etc.

I advise myself to beware of the power I have. Lets use it to facilitate reaching the aimed objective. Never use it for personal interests which can threaten others.

Power obsession may lead to misuse for the purposes which should be achieved. Do not simply become prey for the power obsession.

4 Research Universities

Yesterday, NST news highlighted 4 research universities in Malaysia. the topic drew my attention as my friend shows me the article. Our discussion focusing on criteria of priority to become research university.

He argued " Does winning competition and receiving medals ( gold, silver etc ) is the criteria to become true research university ??? Or the number of article published in reffereed journals ??as well as the citation ..."

What does important to become research university ??? Why we care to this matter ???

I say, I do not sure...

Emotion or Motivation ?

Salam And Ahlan,

Every day we need motivation. To wake up, to work and to socialize. There is no wonder why people need a motivater as well as to become a motivater. We need such support behind these motivations.

Nowadays we watch in Tv too many programs concerning motivation. In magazines, websites and so in blogs. Motivation is a good industry. Most of us know that, or at least can smell it.

Why we do need motivation ???. Why this industry becomes famous and demanded ???. I do think there must be a reason. My small idea is people do not have motivation to motivate themselves. They prefer to listen and watch. They are not going to find and create a motivation for themselves.

But, the greatest reason [ to me ], is there are too many factors contribute to demotivation. Just imagine the phenomena around us. An enviroment. Climate. And don`t forget people around us day and night. They are unconciously playing behind us to demotivate.

Think about it, not just to accept.

Promotion is a hot but closed issue. I did not know this happened around me. I heard a lot of people were talking about it.

One day, I spoke to my colleague about filling promotion form. He told, as I could understand, HOW DARE YOU??? THERE ARE OUR SENIORS WHO ALREADY APPLIED BUT IN VAIN!!!. WAIT UNTIL 10 YEARS YOU CAN THINK ABOUT IT.

I started to hesistate. Why I`m not supposed to apply???. Luckily, I found the answer when I talked to registrar Department ( Staff Develepment & Proffesionalism ). I already have enough criteria to apply.

Today I start to fill the form. Collecting all particulars required. Thanks to my friends for their helps and encourages. I pray my efforts meet the end. All I need is Allah`s blessing.

Salam And Ahlan,

3 days in KL. I got too many things to organize later. CSSR was a wonderful experience and enhanced my networking. I have opportunity to collect some datas as well.

Yet there is a working paper needed to be completed before 15 og July. The framework already done roughly. I need to give focus on it in one day. And the class will start on the next thursday.

There is nothing new pertaining to my writing. But a book I have borrowed will be on my desk soon. I am thinking to publish such article on journal, refereed journal.

My journey is still long. To keep on what I am doing now is not enough. I must go beyond the normal routine. My efforts must be different and doubled.

CSSR & 3 Days in KL has widened my thought and strategy.

The Wind Of Change

Ahlan and Salam,

When I awake from my bedroom this morning, I feel very strong. A very new experience like to change my way of life.

I know, I face too many things during 32 years. My way of thinking in some circumstances, is influenced by whom living around me. Family, realtives and friends. But, if I look back to my past, I have changed a lot. I will keep changing to become the best among the best.

My reading to such writing may influence me. Especially the full hearted writing. I can feel how the writer express his ideas or thinking full hearted. It will reflect me instantaneously.

Thanks to Allah for giving me this instinct. It makes me eager to read more and more. I also learn that to be multilingual will broaden my chance to read.

The coming days and seasons will promise us better life.

What I Learnt ???

A couple days ago, 23-24 Jun I attended Seminar in Language And Communication organized by UDM. It is my annualy activity to attend and present my research findings. This seminar is national level. VC of UDM has come and officiated the ceremony. But this time, I was very lucky for having a chance to see and listen to a keynotes speakers. There are five speakers.

Day one, Prof. Asmah Hj Omar ( P.E ) and Prof. Richard Day presented their papers. Asmah gave very valuable tips in communication which she summurized into 2; Ethicet and Ethic. These 2 must be taken into consideration in communication.

Richard Day, from Hawaii has given a very simple way to teach reading. He came up with a question, I hardly to forget it. We read>>> by reading. As what I can understand, there is no way to become capable in reading, just one way, you must read!!!. Thanks Prof. Richard for this remark.

When day two comes, we have more 3 prominent academician. Prof Abdullah Hassan ( P.E ) emphesized on the importantness of Malay Language. I already knew his consistance struggle in language education, especially in Malay language. I learnt that a figure like him is very important to play a role in our society.

Prof. Khoo Kay Kim also one of the speakers today. Its unbelievable to hear something from him. I gained my belief how our people sidelined the history for current life. He said there was no " Divide and rule" in British Colonial history. Further more, he asserted Malays are not farmers, they are traders. I was interested to put all thing here. But it is not suitable for space.

The last presenter, my guru in modern linguistic Dr. Rahim Ismail. I know he also has fighted for the sake of Arabic teaching and learning in Malaysia. I feel like to know what he was going to present for I always follows his previous writing. I remember deeply his philosophy in teaching and learning langguage, especially Arabic. "Use Arabic to learn it, but not to learn how to use it".

To sum up, this is my valuable experience for the year 2007. The next conferences or seminars will give the same or more. May Allah give me more opportunities.

I do not mean to give any idea about the title above. I just to share my concern about the issue of Syari'a Law or the Fiqh of Islam. I hope dear friends who drops by my blog will give any idea pertaining to the issue I mention later on.

A couple weeks ago I ask my friend, what is the " hukum" of shakinghand between man and women ???. I don't want to qoute his answer. What the answer is???. The second one, does open hair is "harus" or how ??? What the "hukum" is "???. Previously, these issues concerning my mind as we know the answer from the kitab, or yellow book.

But for today's answer, I really do not know. does the "hukum" has been changing ???. It is up to your to share the answer...

Bahasa Malaysia VS Jawi

Yesterday, we heard our national language get to be changed again. We do not call it "bahasa Melayu" anymore. We have to officially state it as bahasa Malaysia. As far as I recall, we ever used term bahasa Malaysia before. The reason of changing is to creat a feeling of belonging to Bahasa among malaysians. That is a good point.

This morning I was watching a program " Breakfast" on TV7. A caller naming himself as John critics on the use of not bahasa ( especially on singboards ) in several Govermet department he visited before. He argues why we use "Arabic" since the goverment emphasizes the use of both Bahasa malaysia or English ???. The hosts of the program looked bewildered. One of the hosts answers that was Jawi script not Arabic. The caller yet refuses to understand, he insists that was not bahasa Malaysia. Bahasa Malaysia must stand in latin script.

The point I try to draw here is, when we keep changing our national language without awereness of the impact on it, we are going to make some values of this language disappear. Jawi is not longer used in bahasa Melayu unless in special occasions or documents. There are streams who are trying to rise the awereness of the Jawi as a part of Bahasa Melayu. But we do not know if this heritage can survive even for specific purpose in the next malays generation.

To sum up, the problem which rises from any party, authorised or unauthorised party, is not merely a conflict of interest, but uncapability to state the ignorence.

The Impact Of Globalization: Thought

Salam And Ahlan,

I am always thinking, does the era of globalization will give such impact to our thought ???. And if we can accept a simple analogy like: we are in darkness, we try to eat...from distance we see a light. But we do not know if this light will harm or not. We will think to be side of that light so we can eat comfortablely... we may say: Yes it does !!!

Back to the idea of globalization in our age, does most of us aware the impact positively or negatively offered ???. We learn that there is a book -quite famous among us like "the world/ earth is Flat". The birth of this book is to meet the globalization perspective, and how to manipulate these changes.

Not simply to make any justification, we need more concrete and rational data or sample to conclude this issue. Let's take a small sample to make it easy to be understood.

We have to see to both side, negative and positive impact which are caused by globalization to our thought...

The Impact of Globalization- Imperialism

A few months ago, I've discussed with my friend on imperialism of language. Of course, we have opposite opinion on the topic.

He argued that the term of "imperialism" is not relevent any more to our age. This term back to the historical and political approach in 19 Century. He never believed that there is imperialism in language use or spread.

When I refered to a paper pertaining to the issue, he insisted to refuse. He claimed the paper could not change his stand. I already gave him concrete argument based on experts sights. But yet, he insisted to say that the language just a tool. Nothing to do with the spiritual aspects.

I argued that language is dichotomy. Once it plays a rule as a tool and in the same time it will influence the habits and emotions respectively.
